For BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0 to 7.1:

Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer using data USB cable and open
the BlackBerry Desktop Software

On the home screen of the BlackBerry Desktop Software, click Device

Click Update my device in the list

Type the BlackBerry smartphone password, if prompted, and click OK

Click Install

Click Install Update

To add or remove additional applications on the BlackBerry, select Applications.

Note: It can take several minutes for the applications to be displayed.

To add an application, select the + icon. The color will change to Green.

To delete an installed application, select the X icon. The color will change to red.
Once desired changes are selected, click on Apply to complete the loading process.
